Looking to enhance your appearance without cosmetic surgery?
Flawless Essence’s unique Skin Rejuvenation protocol combines the revitalizing effect of Palomar StarLux Laser and Pulsed Light System, AFA Clay Peel and Electrocoagulation.
Nothing is as beautiful as soft, smooth, healthy and blemish-free skin! Together we can achieve these goals!
First we begin with Electrocoagulation, ridding our skin of any vascular lesions. Secondly, we eliminate the skins surface dead and damaged cells, creating a smooth, soft and even complexion. Finally, Flawless Essence introduces Palomar StarLux Laser and Pulsed Light System to recapture your skin’s radiant appearance by correcting the tell tale signs of sun-damage and age as well as unwanted freckles, pigmentation, unsightly vascular veins and broken capillaries, acne and surgery scaring, thick textured and deep wrinkled skin.

If you want to improve your skin tone, we are leading the way in making skin look more beautiful.
Palomar’s photorejuvenation process offers comfortable and effective photofacials for the treatment of sun damage and unsightly veins, and can make visible improvements in your appearance.
The photorejuvenation process uses pulses of concentrated light to treat:
- Sun Damage: Wide areas of pigmentation on face, neck, chest, and other areas.
- Sunspots: Pigmented lesions, also known as age spots.
- Rosacea: General inflammation of the cheeks and face.
- Spider Veins: Individual vessels, which can be read, blue, or purple in colour.
Our photorejuventation process provides the most skin-safe, comfortable, and effective photofacials available, with little to no downtime. Photorejuvenation appointments are quick, and you can return to work or activities-looking and feeling fine!
Palomar Systems uses specialized hand pieces which filter light to target blood vessels and pigmented lesions. Each band of the spectrum has a wavelength that is ideal for different treatments, such as sunspots removal and vessel clearance.
The Palomar photorejuvenation hand piece emits pulses of light into the skin. The light is absorbed by the pigment in sunspots and the blood in visible vessels, which typically fade from view within two weeks.
Pulsed light systems and lasers are very similar, but Palomar Pulsed Light Systems use a much larger window than most lasers. This spreads light over a wider area of skin and allows faster coverage of the skin and quicker treatments as a result.
The face, neck, arms, back, and legs can all be treated.
Your technician will move the handpiece over your skin, pulsing it all the while. Each pulse will send a beam of light through your skin. A flashing light, an audible tone, and a mild sensation on the skin will tell you when the handpiece is being pulsed.
Immediately after a treatment, you can expect a mild sunburn-like sensation, possibly accompanied by some minor swelling. This usually lasts 2-24 hours, and can be soothed with cold gel or ice packs.
Sunspots/Sun Damage: The sunspots will darken after treatment and be naturally shed from the skin within 1-2 weeks.
Rosacea: Skin tone will typically benefit from less pronounced redness within a week after treatments.
Spider Veins: Vessels may disappear after treatment or they may appear darker then fully or partially fade within 10-14 days.
Typically, a few visits will be necessary to treat sunspots, rosacea, and vessels.

StarLux Fractional Non-Ablative Skin Resurfacing offers both superior results and little to no downtime. The Lux1540 fractional microbeams penetrate deep into the epidermis and dermis for effective, long-term results. The fractional, non-ablative approach stimulates quick healing with no long term redness.
StarLux fractional non-ablative treatments are also easier than other technologies, which can involve long prep and clean-up time. The StarLux doesn’t require dye or prolonged appointments. Treatments are quick and convenient to your schedule.
The Palomar Lux1540 Fractional Non-Ablative Laser Handpiece delivers light in an array of narrow, focused “micro-beams”, to create columns of coagulation within the skin. These columns initiate a natural healing process that forms new, healthy tissue. This results in improved skin appearance.
StarLux Fractional non-ablative treatments can be performed on most areas of the body, including the face, chest, arms, and hands.
Some skin resurfacing devices, such as CO2 lasers, use the ablative method, which removes the epidermis and some of the dermis. While good results are eventually seen, the drawbacks include red and raw skin, down time and a risk of infection for several weeks after treatment.
Our device uses the non-ablative method: sending light pulses into the epidermis and dermis, while leaving the stratum corneum in place. This allows quick recovery.
You may experience redness, warmth, swelling, or tightness in the treated area, which typically fades within a few hours of treatment. The skin may often have a pinkish tone for 5-7 days. Generally, you can receive a treatment and go back to work or to other activities without any recovery time.
With our “easier on the skin” fractional non-ablative process, the light pulses are confined to narrow columns in the skin, allowing for a quick-healing process. Some people notice positive changes in skin appearance within a few days.
A series of treatments at 3-6 week intervals may be required to achieve the desired results. Your treatment provider will be able to give you more information about the StarLux Fractional Non-Ablative Skin Resurfacing treatment and expected outcomes.
If you are interested in a less painful option to CO₂ ablative laser procedures, and if you prefer to resume your daily life without extended recoveries, our more gentle treatments may best suit your needs.
